Basketball
Our program is a success because of the dedication of the PARENTS, VOLUNTEERS, SUPPORTERS and of course, our WONDERFUL COACHES!

Who plays Special Needs Basketball: ANY child five years old and up or adult that has a disability in Gwinnett County. We have players that are mentally, physically, visually, and hearing impaired. While we have players are not physically impaired, others may use wheelchairs or a walker. It is very exciting to watch even the most "inexperienced" and "apprehensive" players as they improve their skills, make new friends and learn to play as a team. No experience or basketball abilities are needed. The ONLY requirement is the desire to have FUN!!

How the game is played: Depending on the number of participants, teams are formed according to players age, height, ability to follow directions for modified rules, competitiveness and desire to have FUN! Other teams are formed for players whose soul purpose for joining the team is to socialize, be a team player and have FUN!

Where and When the games are played: Games are played  Saturday mornings at Grayson First Baptist Church on Hwy 20 in Grayson. (Map from [ Yahoo! Maps ]) The games last one-hour.
